What will it cost

It is central to our philosophy that no-one should be turned away through lack of means to pay and our fees are flexible and are based on your individual circumstances.

However, it costs us approximately £35 to run an individual counselling session, and £45 to run a couples counselling session and we do expect you to make a realistic contribution towards this cost.

Fees for regular counselling are agreed at your first counselling session in consultation with your counsellor.

Assessments are normally charged at the fixed rates of £35 for individuals and £45 for couples. There are concessionary rates of £10 for individuals and £15 for couples for those on benefits or who for others reasons have difficulty in meeting the normal charge.

Why do we ask you to contribute...
We are not part of the health service or social services. We are an independent charity and we operate at a significant loss. We rely on client contributions as well as on donations from trusts, local chruches and individuals to subsidise our service.
