About counselling and psychotherapy

We offer:-

  • open acceptance in a trusting relationship;
  • a confidential setting;
  • time to explore problems in depth.

Counselling does not offer any quick or easy solutions to life's difficulties. However, by working with a trained and sensitive counsellor, a person can begin to see their situation more clearly, recognise unconscious patterns, and begin to make decisions about achieving a more satisfying life. Sessions are usually weekly and last for 50 minutes.

Psychotherapy is similar to counselling but offers help over a longer period of time and occasionally with more frequent sessions in order to deal with more difficult issues at greater depth.
